2013 ATLANTA

Held at the Fairfield Inn in the Vinings neighborhood of Atlanta, Georgia, the 2013 CCCoA convention offered many opportunites for our club members, guests and families to enjoy the cars and each other's company.

Roughly 24 Checker cars showed up from many parts of the USA and gave us the chance to compare notes and learn from each other.

Visits were made to the Atlanta History Center, the Southern Museum of Civil War and Railroad History and to the Varsity Drive In where the Checkers could be admired by the public.

A barbecue dinner was the highlight of our annual Saturday Banquet held at the historic Brawner Hall.

The Atlanta Host Committee, comprised of David and Becky Carlson, Gary Lohsen, Brad Lohsen and Paul Worth, demonstrated what true Southern Hospitality is all about. They created a truly memorable event.
