April 14 - Prescott Checker Cruise-In


You are cordially invited to attend the Southwest Checker Cab Cruise-In to be held on Saturday (April 14, 2018) in Prescott, Arizona.
Although formal registration is not required, Walt Lynn, the organizer of this regional event would appreciate you letting him know if you plan to attend with your Checker. Walt can be contacted by email at walt@classytaxi.net. If you need to talk to Walt, he can be reached at (928) 830-3652.
This event will benefit the work of Chapter 16 of the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) organization serving Yavapai County.
There will be raffles, 50/50 drawings, lots of prizes, gift certificates, tools and awards during the show. An event Tee Shirt will also be available for sale. There will also be historical memorabilia on display. Awards will be determined by popular vote. All proceeds will go to benefit local veterans and Chapter 16 outreach programs.
The featured car will be “Kaela’s Car,” the restoration of a Checker cab, previously owned by a fellow Veteran who has passed., Kaela, the current owner of the car, is also a Military Veteran.

Donations in support of this event and DAV Chapter 16 will be appreciated. There are two ways for you to donate:
